It is with deep sadness that Snow Tiger Martial Arts Association acknowledges the passing of Gary Arthur Hollman<\/strong>, who left us suddenly on Saturday, April 18, 2026<\/strong>, in his 69th year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gary was one of our most esteemed and long-serving instructors, and a man whose quiet strength, generosity, and dedication helped shape the lives of many students over the years. Even as many students came and went before him, Gary remained steadfast in his commitment to teaching, guiding, and giving of himself to others. His presence in the dojo was constant, and his contribution to our club and to Canadian Jiu Jitsu will not be forgotten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gary was a respected member of the Snow Tiger Martial Arts Club, an Air Force veteran, a devoted husband to Nancy, a loving father to Caitlyn and Erica, and a proud grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, fellow instructors, and the many students whose lives he touched through his years of instruction and example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On behalf of the entire Snow Tiger family, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Gary\u2019s family and loved ones during this difficult time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In keeping with Gary\u2019s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Details will be announced by the family when available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those wishing to do so may make a memorial donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation<\/strong> in Gary\u2019s honour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gary gave much to this club, to the art, and to the people around him. He will be remembered with great respect, gratitude, and affection.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Gary \u00e9tait l\u2019un de nos instructeurs les plus estim\u00e9s et les plus d\u00e9vou\u00e9s depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es. Homme de force tranquille, de g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 et d\u2019engagement, il a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 fa\u00e7onner la vie de nombreux \u00e9l\u00e8ves au fil des ans. Alors que bien des \u00e9l\u00e8ves sont pass\u00e9s avant lui, Gary a toujours continu\u00e9 \u00e0 donner de lui-m\u00eame, avec constance, humilit\u00e9 et d\u00e9vouement. Sa pr\u00e9sence au dojo \u00e9tait une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence, et sa contribution \u00e0 notre club ainsi qu\u2019au Jiu Jitsu canadien ne sera jamais oubli\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gary \u00e9tait un membre respect\u00e9 du Snow Tiger Martial Arts Club, un v\u00e9t\u00e9ran de l\u2019Aviation royale, un \u00e9poux d\u00e9vou\u00e9 pour Nancy, un p\u00e8re aimant pour Caitlyn et Erica, ainsi qu\u2019un grand-p\u00e8re fier et attentionn\u00e9. Il laissera un grand vide au sein de sa famille, parmi ses amis, ses coll\u00e8gues instructeurs, et chez les nombreux \u00e9l\u00e8ves qu\u2019il a guid\u00e9s et inspir\u00e9s par son enseignement et son exemple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au nom de toute la famille Snow Tiger, nous offrons nos plus sinc\u00e8res condol\u00e9ances \u00e0 la famille de Gary et \u00e0 tous ses proches en cette p\u00e9riode difficile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
